Parks blend - coming soon
COMING SUMMER 2019!
Parks protect natural and cultural spaces for the health and joy of present and future generations. Coffee gives us the verve we need to get out and explore them. Because these things pair so well, we’re proud to collaborate with BC Parks foundation on a special roast in support of local and provincial parks. Fuel your adventures in parks with coffee that helps sustain them: now that’s caffeine put to good use.
By purchasing a bag of Atlin Parks blend, you are supporting the local Tarahne park, thank you!
Tarahne Park is managed on a volunteer basis by the Tarahne Park Board, which is made up of local residents. New park facilities were constructed in 1991/92 with funds willed by a former Atlin resident for the construction of facilities in Atlin, and a GO BC grant. Since then, funds are raised through the concession stand, but upgrades and maintenance and thus more funds are needed.
Tarahne park is important to the community of Atlin as it provides community recreational facilities, including a baseball diamond, bleachers and dugouts, 2 large playgrounds, gymkhana riding ring, concession stand, basketball court, volleyball court, BBQ shelter, walking/jogging track, and toilets. ·It is also the home of the annual Atlin Arts and Music festival, that brings in 2000 people from across the province and country.
We are so very happy to be giving back to our community this way, we hope you'll feel just as good as us about fuelling your days and adventures while helping sustain Tarahne park.
From us and the BC Parks Foundation; Thank you and Happy trails!
